Lake McConaughy - 15 miles east of Lewellen

Located in neighboring Keith County, Lake McConaughy is a popular tourist destination located within 20 minutes from Lewellen, with a variety of activities for the whole family.

Fishing Boating & More

Best known for its Walleye fishing and boating, this 20-mile long lake is also excellent for swimming and camping along its endless white-sand beaches.  The area provides land-based recreation as well, with a world-class golf course, reputable restaurants, comfortable lodging, and excellent waterfowl hunting.

Access north side of Lake McConaughy through Big Springs and Hwy 92 by Lewellen.
